What does it mean?

We – that is Char and Martin – started this newsletter to talk about the weird experiments we are doing together. The first big one is VITRIOL, a word puzzle game unlike anything you’ve seen before. The next big experiment is Write with LAIKA, an ongoing exploration of artificial intelligence-powered writing. Our swan song was the release of the Drama Engine, an open source tool for building with narrative agents.

After spending 3 years trying to build a creativity-first, human-centred AI tool we recently switched back to game development. Our new company, NEON AURELIUS, is an experimental games studio for inventing digital habits. We’re hard at work on our first game.
