It’s almost time.
We’ve been working hard on getting the bare bones of our AI-powered creativity tool LAIKA up and running for the last month, and we’re now gearing up to share it with people. Right now… it’s shaky. It’s fickle. It’s downright capricious! But there’s more than a glimmer of magic in there! It’s getting better day by day, and with the help of early users we’re confident we’ll be able to shape it into a fine thing indeed.
So, do you want to try LAIKA?! If so, we’ve got intro workshops on Wednesday June 8th and Wednesday June 22nd that you are very welcome to sign up for. Signing up for one of these now means you’ll be taking the first steps hand-in-hand with us, and you’ll get to influence and experience how the product shifts and changes over the coming months.
And if you want to influence LAIKA in an even more hands-on way, we’re also looking for a remote freelance contract front-end developer for June & July. If that sounds like you or someone you know, you’ll find more details and how to apply right here.
With that, we’ll vanish into our development cave for a little while, but we’ll be back with news soon. Until then, friends, we leave you with a glorious and suitably horrifying selection of images we created with MidJourney as tributes to some of our pre-trained “brains” that writers can work with in LAIKA:
